Simple Advice For Your Blogging Business

Are you looking to create an online presence where people
follow you on a daily basis? The content you'll find here will be perfect for you if you're looking to better your blog. This guide will cover great advice that you can use in creating a blog and you will get the popularity level that you desire.

Ensure that you are posting very often in the blogs that you operate. At the minimum, you should aim to post one time on each blog every single day during the weekdays. Of course, posting more is always welcome. This shows your visitors that you are a very active blogger, which will make them more prone to keep visiting your blogs.

A key to a successful blog is to blog often. Many bloggers will start by posting once a week, or once a day, and then fail to continue the frequent updates. Even if readers love your blog, they'll lose interest if they have to wait a long time for updates. A good rule of thumb is to create new blogs weekly and send out email updates.

Since blogging is on a personal level you should avoid writing formally. You should still write in a professional manner and use proper grammar. Your readers will be able to relate to you more when you are writing to them in a casual way and will continue reading your blogs.

Utilizing social media websites is a great way to generate interest and increase traffic to your blog. You can use Twitter and Facebook to inform readers of new blog articles which they can then share with their friends. These websites also serve as a way to interact with your readers, and find out what they are interested in. Tailor your blog updates to their interests.

If you are going to blog, you need to make sure you choose a niche or market that you are passionate about. There are plenty of blogs out there, and there are just as many topics to choose from. Stay specific, and choose a blogging subject that you can create a successful blog with.

Commenting on other blogs is one of the best ways to generate traffic to your blog. If you read an interesting article, write a compelling comment that offers a unique perspective. Include a link to your blog. The people who read your comment will likely want to read more of what you have to say, and will visit your blog

Your blog goes much further than just your posts. It may look like just a collection of various articles, but it's so much more. To be a successful blogger, your blog needs a presence. This is created by your posts and comments, both on your blog and other online sites.

With all that you now understand about blogging and how it can help you, you should now have a strategy in mind for how you want to go about blogging in the future. Just take into consideration that it takes time to truly establish a blog with the level of success you hope to achieve.

Adwords Suggestion Tool For Profitable Keywords

Doing business online means that your primary goal is to get traffic to your website. There are many methods you can use to generate that steady stream of traffic: Pay Per Click, Search Engine Optimization, and article marketing. All of these methods have one thing in common: you have to have a good list of keywords for them to work. That's why many online marketers turn to Googles Adwords suggestion keyword tool.

There are other programs online that will help you find great keywords, but most people stick with the giant and use the Google keyword tool. This tool will give you most of the information you'll need to set up successful advertising campaigns online.

Of course, as with everything, the keyword tool is not the do all end all. It's a really good place to start but you really have to drill down to find as many possible results as you can.

Most people will use this basic approach when doing their keyword research: type in a broad phrase and then take some of the results and drill those down even further.

Enter a general term and make note of the results. Depending on what you are using the keywords for, you may want to set the keyword tool to show you specific things such as the estimated cost per click, or the amount of competition, etc.

Once you've gotten a general list of possible keywords to target you can then get more specific in your search. For example, if you're searching for dog toys you would enter 'dog toys' in the keyword tool.  You will get back a fairly comprehensive list but you can then take those results and narrow them down further.

So if you got the term homemade dog toys you may be able to further hone that down to wooden home made dog toys. You get the idea. Start broad and narrow your selections down until you've got a complete list of highly targeted keywords to use for your online advertising campaigns.

The narrower you make your list the more targeted, and likely to actually make a purchase, your visitors will be. Also, you'll have less competition for the term wooden homemade dog toys then you would for dog toys. True, you'll also have fewer searches but the searchers you do have will be very targeted and they won't cost you as much.

Don't get too caught up the estimated cost per click numbers. These are only estimates. The actual amount you, or anyone else, pays for a given keyword can vary significantly based on several factors such as the quality score Google assigns to your ad.

The more clicks your ad gets the higher the quality score you'll receive. If you have a high quality score your ad will show up higher in the results and you'll pay less for the keyword.

The Adwords suggestion keyword tool is a great place to start your keyword research for any type of online advertising you need to do. Just don't fall into the trap of believing that it's going to give you every result for any given keyword and make sure to keep in mind that the results you get will largely be estimates and not exact numbers.

5 Easy Ways To Generate Low Cost Traffic

There is one hard and fast rule in generating income for your website: A steady flow of website traffic. If no one goes to your site, it hardly bares a chance of generating an income. Many sites have tried and failed in doing so, and these results to the sites demise. It takes money to maintain an income generating site; it also takes money to make money.

BUT, it doesn’t take a whole caboodle of cash to generate website traffic for your site.

Ever wonder how does big hit sites drive traffic top their site? Most of them are spending tons of money to drive the traffic to their sites, investing in many advertising campaigns and different forms of marketing schemes and gimmickries. This is all worthwhile because, well, they are what they are now, high earning, big hitting websites.

You don’t have to do this if you don’t really have their resources. There are many ways to generate low cost website traffic without having to spend what you don’t have or can’t afford. Many people have banked on high cost methods and have ended up losing their shirt over it.

Here I present to you the Top five ways to generate low cost website traffic that could help your site a whole lot. Even if you only get a small percentage of successful visitors in to client ratio it still works especially if you get a high number of website traffic.

Exchange Links

This is a sure and proven method. Rarely would you see a site where there is no link to another site. Many webmasters are willing to exchange links with one another so that they could produce more public awareness about their sites. You’ll soon see and feel the sudden upsurge of the traffic coming in to your site from other sites.

A major prerequisite in exchanging links with other sites is having the same niche or content as the other site. They should share a common subject so that there is continuity in the providing of service and information to what interests your target traffic.

Exchanging links also boosts your chances of getting a high ranking in search engine results. It is common knowledge that search engines ranks high sites that have inbound and outbound theme-related links. With a good ranking position in the search engines, you will generate more traffic in your website without the high costs.

Traffic Exchange

This is like exchanging links but on a different higher level. This may cost a bit more than exchanging or trading links but could be made cheaper because you get to earn credits. You can use those credits when viewing others traffic, while you earn credits when someone views yours.

Traffic exchange services are the viewing of another’s site or page. This is done vice versa where a site can use your sites contents and so can you to his or her site. You both benefit from each others efforts to generate traffic. The other sites visitors can go to your pages and know more about your site as well as theirs. Once again the public awareness of your sites existence is boosted.

Write and Submit Articles

There are many e-zines and online encyclopedias in the internet which provides free space for articles to be submitted. If you want to save costs, you can do the articles yourself. There are many freelance writers who are willing to write for you for a small fee, but to save money, it is wise to do those articles yourself.

Write articles that are themed along with the niche of your site. Write something that you have expertise on so that when they read it, they can feel your knowledge about the subject and will be eager to go to your site. Write articles that produce tips and guidelines to the subject or niche your site has.

Include a resource box at the end of your article that can link them to your site. Write a little about yourself and your site. If you provide a light, information-laden and interesting article, they will go to your site for more.

Make a Newsletter.

This may sound like hard work because of all the articles you may need to use to build a newsletter but on the contrary, this is not so. There are many writers and sites that are willing to provide free articles as long as they can get their name in on your newsletter. This will also provide free advertising for them as well.

As your newsletter gets pass around, you can widen your public awareness and build an opt-in list that can regularly visit your site.

Join Online Communities and Forums

This only requires your time and nothing else. You can share your knowledge and expertise with many online communities as well as your website. You can get free advertising when you go to forums that have the same subject or niche with your site.

Share your two cents and let them see how knowledgeable you are with the subject. As you build your reputation, you also build the reputation of your site, making it a reputable and honest business that could be frequented and trusted by many people.

Online Success Is Dependent On These 2 Things

Lead generation and list building determine your success. This is IMPORTANT!
If you don’t understand this concept, you will continue to be a BUYER, not a SELLER.

BUYERS are those people with dreams of making money, so they buy this product, and that software, and jump from one online program to another. Result: Frustration with scarce earnings.

Compare this with SELLERS. Sellers want to earn online too but they understand that
to make money one has to be a marketer. The Seller has access to an updated source
of products or services to sell, a way to generate leads and is always working on
building an email marketing list.

Sellers earn online because they understand that you make money by promoting products and services, you become a seller not a consumer. Knowing how to generate leads and build a list leads to a successful long term prosperous business.

The first type of person, the BUYER spends all their money trying to BUY success by ordering “success secrets”, software, gizmos, and such. They never actually get to the WORK part, doing what they are taught. They get frustrated and quit, or join the next greatest online money-making program.

The second type of person, the SELLER, gets it. They put in the time, effort and have the patience to see results. They pick a program, product or service to promote. They work hard to generate leads ALL THE WHILE building an email marketing list. The more leads you have, and the larger your email marketing list, the more people you have to buy what you are offering. It doesn’t happen overnight, your business builds over time.

It’s not too late to convert yourself from a BUYER Into a SELLER! Help is here!If YOU want to earn online, then you need to be a CONSTANT Marketer. Promotion is what you do and as often as you can.

People who are new to online marketing or more familiar with offline businesses, don’t appreciate how much marketing you must do to make sales. It’s not easy. You have to take the time to learn. Think about a medical doctor. You don’t just wake up one day and you are suddenly a doctor. A whole lot of training goes into earning that status. Same for a plumber, electrician, teacher, lawyer. If you want to be successful at something, you
have to do the training. Learning how to market online and thus make money online, means learning how then doing what you are taught.

So the question to you is this:

Are you going to dig into training and get it? Are you going to be a SELLER, a marketer and start earning online? Or are you going to be a BUYER, spend your money rather then earning it back, then eventually give up?

Benefits Of Article Advertising Or Article Marketing

Article advertising or article marketing can be the key to not only making money but having a successful business. If you have a product or service that you are trying to promote then one of the best and most cost effective ways is by using article advertising.

Article advertising is a type of marketing effort in which you write short articles, about 400-600 words, related to the product or service you wish to promote. If they are well written they will, after getting distributed to various online article directories that will be easily found on search engines and read by people interested in what you have to offer.

In article advertising, well written article will be constructed in such a way that it has strategic placements of keywords and keyword phrases used by those who are searching for what you have to offer. This will make your article easily found by search engines and can help get you noticed earlier by future consumers.

Some of the benefits of article advertising are:

1) It is a great way to gain respect in the niche you are trying to reach. If they see your well written and informative article they will see you as an authority. The more that you have written about a certain area, the more trusted you will be and the more likely they will be to buy what you offer.

2) It is very cost effective. If you write the article yourself it will only cost you the amount of time and energy you put into researching and writing the subject. If you can't write well, you can easily find those who are able to write for you who are affordable and will let you put your name on it, aka, ghostwriters. These are many times very affordable, though you need to make sure that they are able to give you unique content and are native speakers in the language you are trying to market in.

3) Links are also a great benefit to article advertising. Your well written article will have a link back to your website and will also have a resource box with a strong call to action. This will invite those reading the article to go to your site to find out more about what you have to offer. This will also help your search engine ranking.

4) It helps you reach a much larger target audience than you otherwise would have. Those who are really interested in what you are offering will be the ones who read your article. You won't be putting your marketing efforts in front of people who may or may not care about what you have to offer. It will be read by people who are truly interested in what you are doing and are also very likely to buy what you are selling.

Article marketing or article advertising is a great way to get attention to your products or services, if it is used correctly. Take some time to learn how to do it the right way or find a good ghost writer to do the work for you and you will find customers who are not only willing to buy from you, but trust that you are going to meet their needs and may come back to you for other purchases. Done correctly, article advertising can help you climb to the top and make you a success.

Safelists: What You Need To Know

What is a Safelist?

A Safelist is a mailing list where Members can email each other. These emails cannot be considered as spam because Members must opt-in to receive the mailings and also have confirmed their email address. A Safelist can be used to advertise a product or service, including business opportunities, affiliate programs, home business products, Clickbank products and so forth. Most Safelists work by allowing Members to earn credits but also offer paid advertising. Basic Membership in aSafelist is usually free

Safelist advertising is a powerful, effective advertising resource for affiliate marketers. It's a myth that Safelist Advertising is not effective. There are definitely ways to get better results, and this is what I discuss here.

Benefits of Safelist Advertising

1. Affordable: Cost is ZERO to join most safelists. You can either surf to earn credits for your own advertising, or you can pay a very small cost for a paid subscription. Paid subscriptions allow you to post more often and to more people. If you can afford it, DO get a paid subscription, cost can be as little as $10 and up. It will save you time by NOT having to earn ad credits. Lifetime Memberships are also a good economical way to save money and have continued access to promotions.

2. Targeted: You reach a targeted audience of other home business folks, affiliate marketers, entrepreneurs and information seekers.

3. Legitimate: Once scoffed at as a cheesy time-wasting practice, Safelists are a legitimate marketing practice and have gained credibility and popularity. Spam laws have limited the number of ways to market a product or service. Safelist Advertising allows marketers to reach consumers easily and legitimately with their permission.

4. Variety: There are various forms of advertising available within Safelist programs. Members have many options for advertising affordably and this can include Text Ads, HTML ads, solo ads, banners, login ads, landing pages, ad rotations etc.

5. Reach: Creating your own in-house mailing list is ideal but does take an enormous amount of time and can be self-limiting to who is on your own list. To reach larger, new audiences, affiliate marketers have discovered the power of being able to post to a large legitimate list of people.

To get better results from your Safelist advertising, here is what you need to know. Always, always, always promote a LANDING PAGE and NOT your website when using Safelist Advertising. Remember you want to make an eye-popping offer and get an instant result. Your website can't and won't do that in most cases.

A Landing Page that will generate results includes:

-Attention Grabbing headline
-Point form, punchy copy thick with the benefits to the reader
-A call to action, DO THIS! GET THIS! -Lead form to gather contact details of the person.
-Option to subscribe to your newsletter, or receive further special offers -More copy than graphics so your page loads quickly and command attention with words not distracting unnecessary graphics.
-some research is now showing that embedding a video in your Landing Page will get better results, the funny thing is the video doesn't even have to be professional. In the age of YouTube, people are used to "home-grown" videos.

When posting your ads, don't rely on just one Safelist. If your funds are limited select 3 - 5 to get started and post as often as you can. If you have a dud ad that doesn't get response, change it up, run a revised or different ad. How will you know if it's an ineffective ad, or safelist?

Check your Ad Tracker. Make sure you use an ad tracking software program. When you post an ad you can see the click-rate and analyze the effectiveness of your ads. Many Safelists offer this tool for their Members.

Summary: The key to effective Safelist Advertising is two-fold.

1) Get a PAID subscription from a number of reputable Safelists so you can promote to larger audiences and more often. Accept that you will get the BEST results from PAID ads. All successful businesses put money back into their business, and you must promote to get results. The good news is that paid ads, and lifetime Memberships are very inexpensive.

2) Promote a well-written copy-dense Landing Page with minimal graphics. Emphasis is on eye-grabbing headline, benefit-laden copy, and ultra-fast loading.

What Content Is Best?

How many times have you heard the saying 'content is king'? Well, that’s only partially true. What’s missing is QUALITY.

The quality of the content is what will not only attract people, but will have them stick around. Article Marketing and Blogging are a wonderful way to expand you business.

You need to realize that you need to become the solution to what ever your prospect is seeking. By giving your knowledge away, you are in turn creating a following and branding yourself as not only a leader, but as a person of trust. It's not uncommon for website and business owners to outsource their writing, either because they don't have enough time to do it on their own, or they may just hate the idea of being stuck in front of a computer trying to come up with ideas.

Unfortunately, when this happens the person outsourcing is looking for quantity over quality. Don’t make that mistake. The end result is usually a half-hearted attempt by the hired writer, full of errors, boring, cookie-cutter material that reads like everything else that's available. In the same breath, if you’re looking for SEO only, that might be fine with you. But what’s the point of ranking if nobody sticks around to read what you’ve written. And that won’t grow your business and get the profit you deserve.

Here are a few ideas and pointers you can use to come up with fresh content with:

Use Current Events: Most of the content is already there. Everyone is being touched by the economic climate. You just need to make it relevant to your readers. Talking about the news also gives your site the potential for discussion and debate. Not to mention, those that enjoyed your post are likely to share it with their own network, which adds traffic to your site.

Use Pictures and Video: Using pictures and video along with your articles or as a stand alone works well. It is in a format that most people love and relate to. You know the saying “a picture’s worth a thousand words.” It’s true. Besides, most people are visual and will watch something as apposed to having to read it. One of the basic rules of getting people interested in what you have to offer (even if it's only free content) is that they have to know, like and trust you. There's something about being able to see who you're dealing with that makes this happen a whole lot easier.

Honest and Critical Reviews: If your market or niche focuses on a specific product or service, you can be the “go to” person for your readers. Just look at the popularity “Angies List” has gotten.

How to Articles and Tips: People are busy. If you are able to give good solid information away and position yourself as a person of value, you not only will gain there trust but you will gain a customer who will come to you again and again. An article will contain information on how to perform a series of tasks, most often with a little elaboration. A tip on the other hand is a bite sized call to action.

Interviews: This is where “guilt by association”, applies...in a good way! Not only are these interviews interesting, because your audience can get information from someone they might admire...you also (whether it's only subconscious or not) become an “expert by association”.

BluePrints: Similar to tips, a blueprint is a great way to teach your readers...without them having to wade through all the extra material that tends to be written when trying to explain a new concept. Instead, you're just giving them the “meat” of the information so that they can put it to use right away.

Stories: Everyone loves a good story! After all, we've been told stories our entire lives.Everything from what happened on our way to the office, to how an idea came to be...Stories are an easy way to break down ideas, while keeping your readers entertained. If you're just trying to communicate and not necessarily educate, stories also make you more “transparent” to your audience. Allowing your readers to get a glimpse inside your life allowing them to actually bond with you. Going with this is the idea of “Mistakes I’ve Made” themes. We all try to make ourselves seem perfect, however, our blunders make us human and like able.

No matter what kind of content you decide to put use, always remember to be ORIGINAL.

Never Look Back

Never look back, you can't change a thing. However, you can impact and change the future by living the present in a large way.

Take stock of what you would like to accomplish this next week. Make a rough draft of the high points and take it from there working backwards. I do not spend time beating myself up for what I failed to do, or what I always seem to fall short on.

Instead, each week I make a new plan. Focus is probably THE most important factor besides plane old Persistence. Your efforts over time will compound. You need to remember that you are building a business and that success is something that is built. It is not something that happens instantly.

Take the time and begin planning. Start small but always have a picture of the ULTIMATE SUCCESS that motivates you. Something that helps when planning is to work backwards from the end. Write it out to help solidify things. Seeing is believing and most of us have to see to believe. It’s not the plan that fails, it’s the people who don't follow through that cause the failure. Sometimes it not possible to buy the solution. You have to work for it. However, we usually prize those things we have to purchase at great cost. Your business should be that prize.

Stop looking for the better program. Start working your solutions and be persistent. Just because one strategy doesn’t work, move on. The internet is always changing and you will have to change to keep up. What created sign-ups 8 months ago, may not do so well now. Always be on the look-out for new strategies. Work one strategy at a time and master it before you go on to something new. That way you won’t get lost and overwhelmed by information overload.

Call your contacts and prospect (make contact)

Blog daily Market daily Read daily (Keep learning)

Connect with your opportunity community (Live events, conference calls)

Be pro-active about your future and stay in motion.

How Often Should I Contact My Downline?

Contact downline members EVERY DAY when they first start until you can see they are successfully recruiting.

Then contact them at least every second day to keep them motivated and to pass on new tips.

This is one of the MOST IMPORTANT things you will do. It is death to just recruit, and then expect your downlines to learn it all for themselves.

Become an active Mentor from Day 1 or you will never catch up. If you leave it to take care of itself, then your referrals will have lost interest. And they will have lost trust in you as a leader.

Once you lose this trust and confidence you will NEVER get it back, so you may as well recruit some new members and start over.

Marketing is more than just posting links! You have to be the leader. You are the one who has to follow through in order to find profit. Good organization and technique will come with experience.

Just keep in mind that you just need to DO IT. On the job training is a given. Just Start and be consistent and begin to see results start to compound.

No Obsticles

BlindManPhotoAs I was out today, I was parked in my car and watched as a blind young man was out on a power walk. What I found interesting was the mechanics of what he was doing. His instrument, of course, was the white stick with the red tip. He was working it to and fro with a very rhythmic beat. He was using the curb as his check and balance for keeping his path on course.

His obstacles in this medium were the parked cars and trash receptacles left at the curb side for pick up. As I watched him navigate, I noticed that he was very adept and his pace suggested experience. As he got closer, I watched him detect the car in front of me a trash bin, next came the vehicle I was in.

Never a flaw nor slowing of pace. Next came the car behind mine about 2 houses down. This time, however, he missed detecting the car and came to an abrupt halt. But this I observed seemed no obstacle at all to him. He simply stepped back, took a baring with his stick and adeptly went around to continue on his way. And with quite a confident stride, I must say!

As I watched all this, I was reminded that the road for us is always there. Ever present in our journey to where ever we are going. However, there are obstacles that will be in our way. Sometimes we navigate them just fine and at others, we have to stop (sometimes rather abruptly), backup and go around what ever it is that was in our way. Regardless of the hindrances, we must go on. Life itself demands it.

A seed unless dead and infertile has no choice but to grow. The only thing different would be the road in which it has to accomplish its task. In this instance, the road is the soil in which it is planted. Good soil, poor soil, rocky soil and even sometimes no soil of which to really speak of. All it knows is that it is to grow and multiply. Should it be anything else with us? We are to grow and multiply. How we grow and multiply is up to each of us.

My soil is internet marketing. My seed is my business. I must grow and reach duplication if I am to survive. How I achieve this duplication will dictate how fast I am to grow and how strong I will be. Obstacles should not be reason I quit or abandon the journey. I will instead, use those same obstacles as education on the way and help others as they face the same challenges I myself have already faced.

Build Up Your Team

Keep the lines of communication open with your team.  Most online businesses have a  lot of lookers.  Even if your affiliates are unresponsive, don't give up.  Keep messaging them.  You never know when they will become active.

Try finding out what country they come from or which language they prefer.  Use Google Translate to their native tongue.  Perhaps their inactivity is due to a language barrier.  If your opportunity allows you to transfer affiliates, try to find one from their home country and transfer them. As with any business, you have to be persistent and always be prompt with any questions or messages.  Sometimes just a quick note of encouragement is enough to help your downline push on.

I recommend you post a message at least once a week to pass along your ideas, motivating quotes, goals, and other items related to your business.

Continue On

No one ever arrives at the place called success. Success is not a destination, rather it is a pathway that will lead you to financial security.
